She became

Time holds us

Suns us

Keeps us from the cold

the darkness

the night

The night draws us closer

tells us tall tales

Scares us, then gives us the day

for relief

We hold

memories, and each other

We tell ourselves tall tales

We turn cold stares

into fiery words

We end up in the night

closer, then closer yet

Relieved, when the day comes, for

we hold each other still

Just an American lost in Denmark. The past few weeks being back in the good old USA. It is like Aliens have taken over my mind, changing it from what I knew to what I know.
