Getting, Forgetting

Getting her to love me
was easy enough
hardly worth any effort
wooed and charmed her
praised and genuflected,
said the right things
at the right time,

Getting her to love me
was easy enough,

Making her forget me
wasn’t easy, at all

  1. Hi thanks for commenting. It is a rare occasion that others do so, but that is most likely due to my highly intellectual style of writing which confuses others so much that they don’t know whether to comment, or run crying into the night?
