A Little Kindness

If I were ill,
I would appreciate
a little kindness,
It might just be
a Donald Duck Comic Book
or a glass of 7-Up,
but it is those little things in life
that count the most,
Being strong for others
Being strong for ourselves
The distinction never being clear
between the two,
Those who are present for others
never expecting anything in return
deserve attention all the same,
denying others
that small portion of kindness
the time being minuscule
the time we take to share
that moment of caring for others
those, who would do the same for us
is not measured in minutes and hours
but more so in our memories and feelings
of how we live our life, and who joins us
on that journey,

Try a little kindness
it works wonders,
for everyone involved

Try
