Sunrise, strong

Peering
out of my window
fighting the words
that won’t meet my paper,
random thoughts remain so
while tangible ones blur
my reality,
I never seem to have enough
words, to convince her of
my sincerity
Trying my best
endlessly so
to write the perfect lines
the most perfect words, filled
with sighs, and pauses
sent in a letter, anonymous
professing, what I hoped she wanted
to hear
what I wanted to tell her,
The sunrise, strong in rays
falling upon my paper, unwritten
thoughts in the morning
light, blinding
my reality

My profile might reflect who I am, what I think and why I write what I do. My profile might just reveal the inner workings of a deranged mind, a helpless soul, and a self-destructive way of living. Don't worry. I'm OK. I've just lost sight of my little sister in the evening clouds....
