Putting Words in My Mouth

She was always putting words

in my mouth,

Words in my pen,

 

Trying to write, not my words

though

being controlled,

by her,

 

When, I finally had enough

I confronted her,

with my own words,

 

“I love you”, I said

she was silent at last,

 

There were no more words

to say….
