Tugging at Your Heartstrings

More of an attempt

to pull myself up

after having fallen

at your feet,

The tug became a grasp

a mere yank of a grip,

Grabbing ahold

with both hands and feet

I find myself wedged in the doorway

of your life,

Just a hand, would help

to extricate, but slamming the door

would be painful, at best

Neither here nor there,

stuck somewhere in between

of being involved with you entirely,

or not at all,

Coming to grips

with Life….

My profile might reflect who I am, what I think and why I write what I do. My profile might just reveal the inner workings of a deranged mind, a helpless soul, and a self-destructive way of living. Don't worry. I'm OK. I've just lost sight of my little sister in the evening clouds....
